Liz Guffey is a Registered Massage Practitioner and a Holy Fire Reiki Master with more than nine years of experience and six years as a business owner. She graduated from Central Maryland School of Massage and received her Reiki certification through the International Reiki Institute. Being a massage therapist was her dream career from a young age, and she wholeheartedly believes in the power of therapeutic touch. Her compassion for her clients’ well-being and healing flows through her hands in every session.
Therapeutic Massage
Liz has developed her own style of massage, blending the modalities she has studied. Her focus is relief from acute and chronic pain, using movement, muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, and trigger point work. Many clients report meaningful relief from this multifaceted approach. Every session begins with a thorough intake and assessment of your health history, areas of concern, and goals, followed by a personalized treatment plan to support your healing and long-term well-being.
Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage is one of Liz’s passions. As a mother herself, she understands the unique pains and discomforts of an expectant mother’s changing body and emotional state. With focused touch and loving intention, she creates deep relaxation for moms-to-be, with positioning and techniques adapted for comfort and safety. Reiki & Energy Work
Liz’s path to Reiki was an unexpected one. For a long time, she was skeptical of anything spiritual and believed that if she couldn’t see or feel something, it didn’t exist. That changed the first time she received Reiki, an experience that was truly life-changing. Reiki has helped her heal past traumas, learn forgiveness and trust, and grow into who she was always meant to be. She is honored to share this gift with others.
Liz offers three levels of energy work. Reiki sessions bring deep calm and balance through the gentle laying of hands. Reiki + Channeling balances your energy centers and brings clarity to what Liz perceives and receives during your session. Energy Manipulation is her most intentional level of care, working with you to address and remove unwanted energies and to shift the energy field, guided by your intention, focus, and involvement.
Her Practice
Liz offers a space free of judgment where open communication is key. Her intuition goes a long way, but she relies on two-way dialogue to provide the safest and most effective care possible..
